Christmas Eve 2009:

Everyone on the Andersen side of the family got together for a smorgasbord of food. We were lucky to have Santa stop by for a visit and then headed off to see more family. It was fun to see all my extended family...it had been a while.

Santa came for a surprise visit at mom and dad's. All the grand kids got to sit on his lap, and all of the little ones screamed. Maybe next year they will be more excited.

The video above shows how excited Sage was at having Linus around. He was very loved while he was in Utah.

Sage was the liveliest entertainment for the evening. I dare you to disagree!!

Christmas Day:

It was a rare occasion to have this many of the Bjarnson family together. We missed Corey and Amber's family and David and Melanie's family, but everyone else was there. Every Christmas Day it is tradition to have everyone over for a potluck of good old home cooked food.

This was a goofy pose that I thought was fun. (It shows true family character.)

Here is the picture where everyone is on their best behavior. What a good looking bunch.

Grandma opening her Christmas gift. Mom sent out squares to everyone in the family to do some sort of art on them that would represent them on the quilt.

Mom also sent out squares for a quilt for Grandpa.

Grandma, Grandpa, Mom and Lauren all together. Mom did the lion share of the work and Lauren did a lot to help her..esp with Grandpa's quilt. They turned out beautifully and both grandparents were overcome with emotion. It was a neat moment.
