This is by far the most difficult post I have made. On Jan 15th I ended up in the Labor and Delivery unit of Mercy Folsom hospital and delivered our 20 week old baby whom we named Bree Nielsen. (It turns out that Aunt Sharon was correct...we were having a girl.) As her lungs were not yet developed; she put up quite a fight for life. Her heart kept on beating for close to 3 hours after she was born. She was absolutely perfect and there are no answers as to why she came so early. In fact less than 1 week earlier we were told "everything is going well, your baby looks healthy and your pregnancy is progressing perfectly."
It is heartbreaking to hold such a perfect baby girl and have your dreams about the future come to an abrupt halt. Both Jp and I are devastated over our loss, but look forward to our future. Bree has given us a prescious gift...we now know how much we want to be parents. Life goes on, and we are trying to move on as well, but we will never forget our prescious little Bree.

"I love you and I would have loved Bree as much as I love you. I still love Bree a lot, even though I never met her."
