Jp's parents came out for about 10 days to help with the house...and were they ever put to work!!! We sure do appreciate all they did for us. It was definitely a labor of love. We are so excited about the way everything is turning out....it is even better than we could have imagined!! We would have never accomplished doing what we did without the help of Mom and Dad. Thank You!!

This is the view when you first walk in the front door. You can see the new carpet, the lighter brown wall (which is the base color we chose for the whole house), the chocolate brown accent wall and the new chandelier. Right now the banister is in the process of being stained a rich dark chestnut color...that wont be finished until after we move in...
Painting the walls and ceilings in this foyer area was a scary job!! Hanging the chandelier was no small task either. The ceilings here are about 18-20 feet high. Jp and his mom laying the floor in the family room off the kitchen.
Here is the finished view of our fireplace. Notice the tile, wood floors, the mantel, floor boards and the green accent wall color. I think it turned out beautifully!!

In this picture Dad is caulking the floor boards. He and I installed them while Jp and his mom finished laying the floors. We decided to go with the the taller floorboards to really set things off nicely.

I am just LOVING everything! I LOVE the dark wood floors and how well it's accented by the base boards and wall colors. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! I cannot wait to see it all in person. When is that going to be? Ryan needs to hurry up and graduate so we can start visiting some family!
Hi Nat & JP
The house looks wonderful. You guys, including Mike and Camille, have done beautiful work. We can hardly wait to see you guys and the house in person.
